Illinipundit exists as a blog to present my thoughts and opinions on political news and current events in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois and the world. My political leanings are more conservative, and for the foreseeable future, I'll be using the nom-de-plume “Illinipundit” for this project of vanity. The best blogs in the world (Instapundit, Powerline, Polipundit, and many others) are the best partly due to the phenomenal collective intelligence and resourcefulness of their readers, and their willingness to listen and interact. I'm hoping that as I write things here, you'll take the time to email and let me know what I've gotten right and wrong, and whether or not you think I'm a piece of garbage.
