From Daly Thoughts, a national blog that does an excellent job of tracking races and polls around the country, comes this take on Blagojevich's re-election efforts:
The cynic in me thinks to the recent convictions in East St. Louis, and wonders if the Governor knows that some votes he could count on in the past might not be so readily available.

Good point. Some of the defendants(and now, convicts)in that case were campaigning for Maag.
Barring another 1982 Gubernatorial election, the fraud in East St. Louis isn't enough to swing a statewide election. It's primarily about perpetuating a system of white Democratic power in St. Clair. Maag's a decent example by Amy, but at worst Blagojevich has ignored the problem as pretty much every other Governor has for years.
That's to be criticized, but if you attack anyone, attack Costello or the county elected in St. Clair over this.
