Some people think they're so smart that one can't help but smile when they do something stupid.
Is this the document that Chris Matthews characterized as "disgusting," claiming that it attacked Alito for being Italian American, despite the fact that it doesn't say anything of the sort and doesn't contain the word "Italian?" Another case of the mainstream media fabricating criticism of Democratic talking points while propagating Republican talking points as fact.
I don't know anything about that - I wouldn't watch Chris Matthews if my life depended upon it. I just thought it was funny that the document was sent out "not for attribution," and the DNC staffers were too dumb to convert it to .pdf first.
Every once in a while we still see "redacted" documents (I think the last one was from the Pentagon in May) where the "redactions" were done in PDF, but the underlying text not removed--copying and pasting the report into Word brings back the redacted text. Oops.
