The GOP statewide ticket might finally be inching towards completion.
UPDATE: Thanks to an alert commenter, I've updated the headline to reflect that Pankau is thinking about running for Comptroller, not Treasurer.

Good find, thanks. One big thing here-Pankau had a very contentious primary in 2004 ($150K debt to her husband!?!!) against Will County Asst State's Attorney Dennis Rebolletti. This stemmed from a long running feud between her organization (Itasca GOP) and Rebolleti's Addison Twp. crew.

Pankau is thinking about running for Comptroller, not Treasurer.
UI College Dems,
Thanks. I'm an idiot. I've corrected it above.
Pankau announced her candidacy yesterday, Miller has a story on his blog today:

When asked what she would do to improve the Comptroller's office Pankau said she hadn't really thought about it yet. This is looking like the biggest blowout out of the statewide races next year.
U of I College Dem,
Exactly. I bet she does not spend any money on this race besides to fundraise and help pay down her debt. She wants access to statewide money to pay her debt from the state senate race.
Dan Hynes is so wonderful. He is so great. Who can ran an office better than him.
I agree with that anonymous poster, Dan Hynes is the man. His Senate campaign had this totally hunky staffer named Erik Wiatr. He was so dreamy!!!
I heard he is a bad ass. He is not as cool as the college dem president who worked for Obama
Or that dishy little guy that was Obama's deputy downstate director
Are you referring to Justin Cajindos. Obama-Cajindos in 2020. He is dreamy.
It is not masculine to refer to men as "dishy little guys"
esp. in downstate Illinois
