I saw Green St. on Fox Channel several times today. They even have a reporter describing it. I called my mom up north so she could see for herself what's happening. And because of the coverage, the B-B accident is getting coverage nationally.

I actually tried to get to work this morning, but my car got stuck at the end of my driveway--even though I had shovelled. Luckily I was able to get the car unstuck enough to get it out of the way of the next plow. I don't care about the vacation issue personally (I have way more than I ever use), but it does matter for some.

The MTD was one of the few things running today. The areas they couldn't serve are the areas that the city was not plowing, all of which I believe were in Champaign!
I took the bus and had not a single problem. It was not even late. Considering that the City of Champaign shut down altogether I would think that the MTD offering service all day where they could get buses down the street might warrant some praise, but I guess that is silly. Who cares that the employees all showed up, spent the day digging buses out of drifts and helping people get around town. MTD haters of the World Unite!
