Apologies

My apologies for my light posting this morning.

I'm exhausted, and I have a great excuse.  That venue, by the way, while brand new and absolutely beautiful, is a terrible place for a concert.  Maybe the worst I've ever experienced - awful acoustics, miserable logistics, and parking/transportation nightmares.  It's even worse than Riverport.

looks like a great place to watch soccer, though.  I've wanting to get up there for a game.

Great place to watch soccer.  I have not attended a concert there but I am intrigued by IP's comments.  Did you sit on the lawn or in the stands?

We sat on the floor, about 30 rows from the stage.  They should have been good seats, but the stage was set up too low, so we really couldn't see anything, and the music, strangely enough, wasn't loud enough, even that close to the stage.

The music wasn't loud enough. Sounds like the perfect Dave Matthews Band concert. I used to be indifferent to them, then they dropped their bus waste into the Chicago River and I kind of liked them. Then I listened to them again and again became indifferent. Maybe they'll crash their bus into a barn full of baby lambs and I'll like them again. John
