In the CNN/YouTube debate, Biden suggested that a gun owner was not mentally fit to own a gun because he wants to keep his guns. Notice the applause, the laughter. It was a real crowd pleaser. Another example of how Democrats will bring this country together.
Just imagine what would happen if a Republican candidate suggested that one of the YouTube question-askers was mentally unstable because of their desire to kill unborn babies.
Later Richardson complimented him on his gun control views too. The whole thing was absolutely mind boggling. Owning guns makes you mentally unfit to own guns. [applause]. Sure as heck doesn't make me feel much better about the government loosening the rules to make it easier to declare people unfit to own guns.

Well, to be fair, I think Biden took issue with the guy calling his assault rifle his "baby." Still not a smart way for Biden to respond, though.

The guy said that as a joke... knowing that all the Democrats would interpret "baby" as a baby and not a gun. Biden added that he was serious about saying that the guy was making the case that he was unfit to own a gun. Oh, and he mentioned something about hoping the guy doesn't come after him too.. I don't think that made it on the YouTube clip.
