Man,,,,,,,if  someone stocked that dunk tank with some rather well known aggressive tropical fish, and dropped either Mark, and or Jason in there!!!  Now that would be a smackdown of epic proportions!  All in all, I would have to put my money on Mark or Jason,  A left handed compliment. Run4, just so there is no confusion on the issue!:)

A source close to the event planners tells me that Robert Dunn will be in the dunk tank on Sunday. This alone is worth the price of admission.

All three of them???  Talk about hard right water,,,,,someone should make sure the Culligan Man shows up for some relief:)  I am going to love the upcoming election cycle:)  Fun, fun, fun!!:)

Not Robert D - but someone even BETTER to dunk...

actually, i think a former President is coming to the dunk tank!

Actually, i would not count Jason Barickman as "hard right." Come to think of it, I doubt that Leo Buchignani was invited to be in the dunk tank, so no, there are no "hard right" folks in the dunk tank. Just a bunch of GOP folk having a good time in September.

Never mind,,,,,,,,,,I changed my mind,,,,even  I thought this one would be over the top:)  Excuse the miscue:0

Wonder you mean tropical Fish from the Amazon? Does that help clear up the confusion? Talk about some excitement when someone is dunked.

Yes from the Amazon:)  But,,,,,those witches they dunked back in old Salem did not like being dunked too well:)  Oh that is right,,,,,they did not let them up :)

A great crowd was on hand at the Fall Festival today. I'm still trying to figure out who was that young Nolan Ryan that Mark Shelden kept handing dollars to while I was in the dunk tank (it was only fair after I forked over $5 to dunk Mark earlier). The kid was on fire, but the water felt good!

Yeah, it was a great day, Wondervogel you forgot to bring the fish. I was wondering were that kid came from, I got 3 balls gave him one and he hammered the target, I wasted the rest.

What a bummer, I was going to attend and even had my swimming trunks on to perhaps be the "dunkee" and my wife's horse colicked so I had to stick around to be the Vet, caller and coordinator.

Crud

Well, anyway great that everyone had a nice time, the weather was great even for waiting for Vets to get there.

Did any stars appear?

"Did any stars appear?"

No, Frerichs did not attend.  Even though he tries to fool people in northern Champaign County, he's actually not a Republican.

Yeah, his cover keeps getting blown by those pesky ballots that keep listing him as a Democrat.  And the constant "D" after his name in the newspaper.  And all the years he's spent as a precinct committeeman.  And the countless hours working for folks like Obama.  If it wasn't for that, geez, the deception would have been perfect.  I guess some people just can't be "fooled."  ;-)

Funny you should attempt to ridicule my post since you're one of the people who helped Frerichs fool our friends and neighbors.

Just call me Mandrake.  (gestures hypnotically...)

No Frerichs was not there! I doubt Frerich would be comfortable in the dunk tank. Those are not for tall folk anyways. Bill Clinton was there! He was in the dunk tank! He kept on whining about a vast right-wing conspiracy trying to drown him. Frerichs was probably getting consulting advice from his puppet masters, Emil Jones and Rod Blagojevich.

Here is an idea for 2010. Why not run Erica Harold for governor? Arnold Schwarzenegger won both times overwhelmingly in a very Democratic state because of name recognition. Erica Harold would be a huge improvement from Judy Baar Topinka any day. I remember watching the 2006 Illinois Gubernatorial debate on C-Span and started dozing in and out of sleep! What do folks think about a Champaign County native running against, Rod or Lisa Madigan?

Hey, Robert Dunn! Why don't you run! We need someone from Champoaign!

"And the countless hours working for folks like Obama."

You forgot Blagojevich!  If not for the hard work of Frerichs, we might be stuck with Jim Ryan or Paul Vallas instead.

Erika Harold with be in the White House in some capacity in the next 25 years. And it's really too bad.

Yes, such is the power of the Frisian mafia.  A friend of a friend told me that (privately) Topinka blames her loss entirely on Mike...

Ken,

"Mandrake"

Hmmmmm....I detect a little dating there.

2002, when Frerichs was working for Rod.

I'm sorry.  I thought we were blaming Mike for every Democratic victory anywhere in the world for the last decade.  ;-)

hey anon 1:17PM, thanks for the invite. If I am making enough money by 2010! Do you have money to support my candidacy against Governor Rod? Since Mr. Frerichs agreed to a basketball game with me with the loser supporting the other in a poltical race, it is going to be interesting. If I beat him, he has to campaign against his own puppet master, Chicago Rod, wow, this is going to be fun, seeing Mike Frerichs denouncing Rod Blagojevich with more passion than Howard Dean's scream.
