Rich Miller at Capitol Fax has the scoop (as always!):
So, in 2006, they went ahead and reported a legal debt and said the reason they hadn’t paid it was because they disputed the bill.
In 2007, they didn’t report a debt because they say they disputed the legal bill, but then they reported it in 2008 once the bill was straightened out.
One explanation for two completely opposite actions, and it’s all bull.
...
* Either way, the guv ought to be severely fined for not reporting a very large bill that was submitted to his campaign fund. The bills come in every month, and whether you agree with them or not, they’re supposed to be reported.
I know he likes to ignore the Constitution and the law and all that, but he needs to be called to account on this one.
But, let’s move along…
$2 million in legal fees? Over a million dollars in the past year alone? What the heck?
(Emphasis in original).
The Governor also appears to have fundraising problems. Go read the whole post.

I think it's expensive to fight the feds, including fighting the public's right to access the federal subpeonas.
Ex- Governor Thompson and his law firm,,it seems they have made a cottage industry out of working for Illinois Gov's in trouble with the feds.
Just wait until the Feds formaly charge "Blow-Dri_ovich" then listen to the music " Cha Ching, Cha Ching!!!!

Do you have anything new to say? Any evidence you would like to give? Not the evidence that exists in your head, I mean something that is concrete and real? Of course you don't, because if it exists, it hasn't been found yet. I don't like the guy either, but as of yet, he's still innocent until proven guilty (or at least "maybe innocent until formally charged").
OK Arvid, Remember how long it took to get George Ryan? The guy is under investigation, and has been for 2 years. The Feds will get this slim bag and the day it happens I will be on here telling YOU I told you so!
The feds are going after everyone around him, including his wife. I think it's a shame it's taking so long to get this done, but I also wonder if we shouldn't start betting on how many other folks go down with Blago.
Perhaps his father-in-law, the 33rd Ward Alderman (Richard Mell)?
Perhaps even Mayor Daley? (Those of us who are cynical wonder if Daley's early support of Obama's presidential bid is related to Daley's desire to get a new, much more docile federal prosecutor in Chicago. Fitzgerald has sent how many of Daley's people to prison already??)
The Feds will get this slim bag and the day it happens I will be on here telling YOU I told you so!
If and when they do get him, please feel free to say I told you so, but they haven't gotten him yet, so please stop presenting it like it's a done deal, because it's not exactly there yet.
As much as I'm sick of the slimeball Blagojevich, and as much as I expect to see criminal charges before all's said and done, we can't bank on it happening until the charges are filed and the trial is held. So I'm with Arvid in saying "don't count your chickens before they're hatched."
Of course another route would be impeachment. Though both sides of the aisle in the General Assembly seem to have little good to say about Blago, I haven't seen much of a groundswell for removal from office.
The GA has trouble voting against a veto I think impeachment maybe a lot to expect.
I think it was on CapitalFax last night that this topic came up. Someone said Madigan's not in favor of impeachment because he doesn't want his stepdaughter Lisa to have to run against (interim) Governor Pat Quinn.
Would I like to see Blago impeached? OH HEAVENS YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Am I holding my breath waiting for this to happen? NOPE!!!!!!
