Check out this GOP television spot for an upcoming special congressional election in Mississippi.
When did Obama become the GOP's new boogie man? This didn't work in Louisiana during the weekend. The GOP lost a blood-red district playing a similar TV spot.

National Republicans are completely clueless.
Obama a "boogie" man?
Maybe you'd like to rephrase that?
That is how the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) is portraying Obama, not what I think. I think it's dumb and counterproductive.
Bogeyman, maybe?
Jenkins had sky-high negatives going in. He was supposed to lose by double digits.
Obama is black. Do yourself a favor and don't discount the fact that Obama's ethnicity is an important issue in southern states. The GOP will continue to pound the race card throughout the election and show once again that it will steep to the lowest levels to maintain power.
Of course, they will. If they hadn't, McCain would be finishing his second term as president and we'd all be a lot better off.

Bush ran against Gore in 2000. Are you saying that if McCain had run against Gore in 2000, McCain would've won? or did you mean to say that Gore would be finishing his second term?
National Republicans are completely clueless.
There is an asymptotic tendency toward zero clues at the IL GOP level, too.
The challenge is to stop the trickle-down effect.
