But many are still hoping that you will nominate Hillary as your running mate. They might go for McCain if you dont. P P: No way! They simply can't go for that pro-life old fool. P P: I change too Sweetie.
What about blue collar America? White I mean. Can you make them dance too?
P P: It'll be difficult. But do they have a choice really? The war is hurting and old McCain is not going to pull the troops out. He is not going to spend the tax dollars on them either. And surely he is not going to create jobs for them.
Are you?
P P: Sure.
How?
P P: By passing a new energy policy that makes corporations pay for their pollutions and oil companies invest their record profits in a clean energy future, on a energy policy that creates millions of jobs that pay well and can't be outsourced. That's the change we need Minnesota - oops!
Really pied piper? You will stop outsourcing? You will force the oil companies -

Let's talk about the war. The surge is working isn't it? McCain's is taking credit for that.
P P: He is an old idiot! Incapable of reading the pulse. Does it matter now whether the surge is working or not? Americans just don't care anymore. They simply want the troops out. And I have promised to do just that.
How soon? Hillary said she would within sixty days.

Three months? Six months? One year?

What if they want to stay longer?

P P: Surely not another hundred years.
But won't there be a bloodbath if we pull out of Iraq now?

But do you really believe you can change anything by talking to Ahmedinijad or any other Irani officials? Can you stop Iran from meddling in Iraq by talking to him? Can you stop him from developing nukes?
P P: We must let diplomacy talk. Hard diplomacy that is. From a position of strength. But we must also remain open to change.
What about this change - a nuclear Iran?

Will you be talking to Hamas? Like old Carter?
P P: Won't that be too much of a change...? Is it possible that the U.S. voting for and not vetoing any U.N. resolution against Israel under you?

Not true. And I'll happily post a screenshot of the log of unpublished comments to show you. Here is a screenshot from a few moments ago:
That's about 20 or 25 unpublished comments in the last two weeks, with over half of them being unpublished because they are either spam or duplicates.
I welcome feedback, but the moderation of anonymous commenters on here is hardly heavy-handed, and it's clearly not being done to suppress any particular viewpoint.
And I'd be happy to take suggestions on better ways to limit/eliminate the trolling which was limiting discussions before I started moderation. So far, despite repeated requests, I've gotten none.

IP reminds me of the Judge who once said, "If it wasn't for the lawyers and the litigants and all this paper, this would be a pretty good job".
Darn those people, wanting to say stuff and everything. My third grade teacher was like that. If you made the class laugh, or even questioned the teacher so other kids would ask tough questions, you were sent to the principal. Mrs. Robinson was her name, I knew her well. When I first started commenting on blogs a few years ago, I decided to use my real name so I would not be tempted to say things that I wouldn’t say in public.
