Has anyone seen any data on where the money has been going in this state since Blago took office? I know he inherited a state in less than stellar condition from Ryan. What I don't know is whether more money has been spent than under Ryan, where that money was spent geographically, how much tax money has been collected in comparison to Ryan, etc. I'm thinking of a state map with the expenditures shown in color, maybe by county, as well as where the tax money is collected.

We keep hearing how the state is broke but I sure don't see many statistics identifying the history of taxing and spending as we hurtle towards the ultimate finacial stimulus - an income tax increase.

The following has no political content--just a heads up--if you have a credit card issued by the UIUC ECU be aware that there has been a great deal of fraud. I had been told about this and then lo and behold my card was blocked due to suspicion of fraud. It turned out the credit card company was correct and I had not even lost my card. Ingenuity seems to go a long way these days.  :-)

There's no such thing as a free lunch.  But on Sunday you can get a coupon for a free Dr Pepper to go with it.  In the current economy, anything helps!
