More about the use of our Federal tax dollars.  :-)    Again to quote our once famous Senator Dirksen, " a billion here, a billion there adds up to real money."   Pattsi Petrie

You know, for all the grief you guys give me about listening to Beck, it usually pans out he knows his stuff. He had this whole NEA scam weeks ago. He was onto ACORN/SEIU, Van Jones, Al Gore and his golden goose called Global Warming long before MSM would touch it. The list goes on and on. When he's wrong, he leads with a correction and apology. I'll agree with you his theatrics are over the top, but I've found his program is one of the very, very few that will dare to say "Pssst, the Emporer is naked!" And a bonus for me, I laugh my butt off at his humor.

I've also noticed that just within the last few weeks, since the White House Press Corp stand-off with the administration's edict banning Fox , a few in the MSM are finding their spine again. Did anyone see Diane Sawyer go off script and confront Gore about eating meat, the #1 contributor to CO2 emissions into the atmosphere? Priceless.

NG reports that Judge McDade allowed the consent decree to end!

Anonymous 3:44 pm is slower in reporting than even the News-Gazette !!!

I just noticed in my PPP in Urbana #2, that a poster:

"On October 14th, 2009 at 01:16 PM, gamera"

Suggested that I acted inappropriately and was guilty of 'Line Jumping" and I would like to clear that up.

Gamera, the gentleman sitting to my immediate right was Bill Slade a local Champaign Business owner and client of mine. He had arrived before you and had bought me those two Polish Sausages which were sitting at that open seat beside him and he had motioned me over to sit down. I am not sure what your etiquette standards are, but when someone buys a meal, has it delivered to the seating area and holds a seat for that meal it is not considered "line jumping", but rather a courteous act.

I guess you didn't see the meal, or Bill motion to me, an honest mistake. Had you come over and asked me what I was doing, I am sure either Bill or I could have eased your concerns.

2nd, read the post, the stick was discharged $0.75 or one hours worth of time, you know when I got there, and I made my appointment at the City of Champaign Mayor's office on time, which was less than one hour from the time I arrived. Perhaps your clock was wrong, I know I made my appointment on time, even spending the time talking on the phone. You have simply confirmed my time frame and actions and I thank you for that.

Thank you for your courtesy, time and effort for reading my comments
