Ron Zook, the alleged great recutier, according to rivals.com has a recruiting class ranked 59th nationally and 8th in the Big Ten.
Replacing the 'k' in Zook's surname with a 'b' and rearranging the letters gives you 'bozo'

Actually, Zook is a great recruiter. The problem is, he can't coach. Now that he has demonstrated that after five years, he has nothing left to sell. When he began, he could blame the team's record on Ron Turner's recruits. Now he is out of excuses. Also, look what he did to Arelius Been. He turned an All American into a 2nd or 3rd round draft choice. What blue-chip player would want to put his career in Zook's hands now?

I'd much rather give Zook another year, especially with the new coordinators, than allow Ron Guenther, one year from retirement, to hire another football coach.
RG kicked the can down the road. Doing so risks much less, long term, than allowing the fabled "one man search committee" and "best AD in America" to saddle his successor with a new coach.

This situation along with Unit 4 are some of the best arguments against extending contracts an unnecessary amount of time, especially expensive contracts. :-)
