Breakfast!

If anyone is looking for an absolutely fantastic breakfast Sunday morning, St. Thomas Church in Philo will host its annual Pancake and Sausage Breakfast from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the school gymnasium, 310 E. Madison St. They will be serving all-you-can-eat pancakes, wholehog sausage, coffee, milk and orange juice. There are also several raffles and a bake sale for anyone who wants to participate. The cost is $6 for adults, $3 for kids.

Usually there are several politicians working the crowd - in the past Mark Shelden, Mike Frerichs, Duane Northrup, Steve O'Connor, Justice Rita Garman, Judge Jeff Ford and others have been seen.

I'll be overdosing on breakfast sausage around 9 a.m. You will not leave hungry!
