I found this online today, www.laurelprussingmayor.com  I found it quite interesting. Anyone else have any other information about this "sculpture" project?

I am sure that if you are anti-bradfield the signs bother you.  I personally am very interested in a man who is willing to dedicate this much of his time and money to being mayor.  I know he is doing a lot of door to door work, and I have to give him credit for this.  You don't run for mayor for the money folks, you do this kind of thing because you care about your community.

Prussing can't point to any major progress while she was mayor.  They are less then +20 businesses since she started.  That is very insignificant for a city of our size.  We are losing ground and will be running in a deficit soon.  I personally am willing to try  a fresh new face and give Bradfield achance since Prussing isn't running at the top of her game. She isn't spending the time getting out and finding out what is missing for the people of Urbana.

Bradfield is also an engineer and Prussing is a politician. He is retired and made it all those years in the "real world" like the rest of us.  He has to have a better head on his shoulders than someone stuck in the political clouds like Prussing.

She seems like a "nice" person I just don't feel comfortable with her running my city.  Rex seems competent and nice.

2507 to 2237 is close, not an "***-handing" in those terms exactly.  But it is a significant loss consider he received 11% less votes then Prussing. "*** handing" no, but it doesn't Prussing locked it up for sure.

I am curious, if Bradfield doesn't win how close he will be. 

If Mccolley and the other candidates where truly anti-Prussing and thought she is doing her community a disservice by being mayor you would think they would drop out and back Rex Bradfield.  I doubt they do though, it's an ego thing.  Looks like more Prussing is probably on the plate unless we see the other candidates man up and drop out.  It's horrible that everyone can't give it their best faith effort and the best man/women win.  But if you want the best results.. you have the play the political game.

I know everyone assumes Prussing is going to win because she is a Dem.  But this is local politics and the big Dem. & Rep. issues don't get the same play time locally as they do in national politics.  We need a person with a good head on their shoulders and I think Bradfield has the sound mind to spend our money wisely and grow our local economy through common sense .  I like his stance, and I encourage people to take a look at his website www.bradfieldformayor.com
